Prinsesse Alexandrine The Danish rail ferry vessel was launched on 20 May 1903 and commissioned on 23 November that year. This was the last time that DSB deployed a new paddle railway ferry on the scheduled service.

FS Friedrich Franz IV. This photograph dates back to 1903 and shows the FS "Friedrich Franz IV" in its original state (4 chimneys). Also on board is a through train, the rail link between Berlin and Copenhagen. The train comprises 8-10 carriages, of which 2-3 carriages were uncoupled to travel to Berlin and Copenhagen.
