The Supervisory Board of Scandlines AG decided at its meeting of December 22, 2003 to appoint Erik Østergaard (44) as temporary Managing Director. Furthermore, Andreas Lübs (37) was appointed temporary Chief Financial Officer. Both assume their positions with effect from January 1, 2004.

Prior to the meeting, the Board was informed that Ole Rendbæk had presumably died. The Board received the news with great sorrow, and  decided to postpone all items on the agenda to a later meeting.

The Board would like to express its deepest sympathy to Ole Rendbæk’s family.
