The German-Danish shipping lines Scandlines AG offers more than 300 departures a day on 14 ferry routes between Germany, Denmark and Sweden, as well as to the Baltic States. Holidaymakers and business travellers can find all they need to know about these services in the easy-to-understand 2005 schedule now available.
The new 2005 schedule contains comprehensive information about Scandlines’ extensive route network, including departure times and rates for the well-known “VogelflugLine” between Puttgarden and Rødby, the Rostock-Gedser service, which will ferry passengers to Denmark in just 1 hour 45 minute from February 2005, plus the direct Rostock-Trelleborg and Sassnitz-Trelleborg crossings to and from Sweden.
Scandlines will also continue to offer the popular combined tickets to Sweden, Norway and Finland in 2005.
A third seasonal period has been introduced on the services from Germany and Sweden to the Baltic States of Lithuania and Latvia, with crossings in January/February and October-December 2005 priced more attractively.
The Sassnitz-Rønne (Island of Bornholm) can also be booked via Scandlines in 2005 following Scandlines’ agreement to take over sales and bookings in Germany as well as port clearance at the Sassnitz ferry terminal on behalf of the BornholmsTrafikken shipping company.
In addition, Scandlines will be offering its customers a “ship & sleep” service, enabling customers to reserve rooms at selected partner hotels in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the three Baltic States when booking a Scandlines ferry ticket.
All travel services can be booked with the Scandlines Service Centres by calling the nationwide number 018 05-Scandlines (018 05-72 26 35 46 37; presently 12 eurocents/min throughout Germany), at your local travel agent or on the Internet at http://www.scandlines.de/.
