21.12.2007 Scandlines increases departure frequency on its Finland service

From 3 January 2008, the Scandlines shipping company is doubling departure frequency and capacity on its Rostock-Hanko (Finland) cargo route. Scandlines first launched the service in October 2007 with two departures per week.

Scandlines Danmark A/S (”Scandlines”) has today agreed to sell its 30% stakein Mols-Linien A/S (”Mols-Linien”) and 100% of Scandlines Sydfynske A/S(”Sydfynske”)to companies controlled by the Clipper Group A/S(”Clipper”). Final completion of the sale is expected to take place at the beginning of January 2008.

23.11.2007 FS “Fellow” to strengthen Scandlines’ Rostock-Ventspils service from 24 November

The Scandlines shipping company will be substantially increasing capacity and departure frequency on its Rostock-Ventspils (Latvian) route from 24 November 2007. Deploying the “Fellow” as the third ship on this line will enable Scandlines to offer six instead of the previous four departures per week in each direction as from now. The RoPax ferries, “Ask”, “Urd” and “Fellow”, will operate from both ports on a daily basis, except Mondays. The crossing time is 27 hours.
